I started DDsthlm
– Desirée Design stockholm –
in May 2014 after graduating from the
“Jewelry Making & Design program”
at Lorenzo De Medici in Florence, Italy.
The training in ancient and modern techniques,
assisted me in laying the foundation for my work today.
It gave me the courage and insights I needed
to develop my own stone-setting techniques
and metal finishes that have become
the signature for DDsthlm-pieces.
I love to work in gold, silver and brass. I love the shades they hold from shiny and polished, to raw and hammered. Sometimes I even tarnish and oxidize the metals, to get that raw and authentic finish. I love how the metals feel to work with and wear, the energy they harness and what they stand for spiritually:
GOLD holds the energy of the sun and the color of
unconditional love, alchemy & self-realization.
SiLVER brings you courage, removes negative energy,
draws in Moon magic, as well as connects you
with your higher self.
BRASS brings out natural good and inner truth and
helps eliminate toxins in the body.
To me a ring isn't just "a ring", or a necklace just "a necklace"... A piece of jewelry may be the initiation of a new era in our lives, or connect to a special memory or person, it may even be a magical talisman that is programmed intentionally...
A magical life starts with our inner dreams and our hearts’ desires... they ripple out into all areas of our lives… Sometimes they start with something as simple as us wearing a piece of jewelry reminding us of our inner truth and dreamlife... every time we, see, touch and feel that piece, we are reminded to become our dream & follow our heARTs…

I’ve always been fascinated by jewelry and I still wear a lot of the pieces I got as a kid – I love that jewelry pieces are timeless! The wisdom and meaning of jewelry is magical and it feels amazing to see all that surfacing again, after what feels like it was forgotten amongst the masses for a few hundred years. Back in the days metals, crystals and stones esoteric meanings were highly valued! I LOVE that we now live in a time where more and more people pay attention to these details, the energy we wear, surround ourselves with and emit.
I love textures.
I love patina.
I love crystals.
To me the imperfect is perfect.
The jewelry pieces are made with fierce focus, authenticity & rawness.
All my pieces harness a special energy of love, passion & life force that I have hammered, soldered, worked & blessed the piece with.
I create what I feel like – sometimes upon request, sometimes to clear my mind, sometimes to understand my truth.
It is what it is.
